Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §1805 is enacted to read:

§1805.__Traditional uses allowed on lands within the jurisdiction

of the bureau

All nonreserved public lands, reserved public lands and all undeveloped areas within state parks are open to hunting, fishing and trapping in accordance with rules adopted by the commissioner under Part 10.

SUMMARY

This bill provides that hunting, fishing and trapping must be allowed on all nonreserved public lands, reserved public lands and undeveloped areas within state parks.
