| | | Sec. 1. 28-A MRSA §1201, sub-§3-A, as amended by PL 1997, c. 373, | | §106, is repealed and the following enacted in its place: |

| | | 3-A.__Sale of liquor to another retailer.__A person licensed | | under this section, or an agent or employee of the person, may | | sell liquor to a retailer licensed to sell liquor for on-premises | | consumption and caterers licensed to sell liquor for consumption | | at the location sold. |

| | | This bill allows a retailer with a license to sell wine and | | malt liquor to be consumed off of the premises to sell wine and | | malt liquor to other entities with a license to sell liquor for | | on-premise consumption. |
