Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6601, sub-§5, as amended by PL 1991, c. 591, Pt. T,
§4, is further amended to read:

 
5. Fee. The fee for a shellfish license is $63, except that
for a person who has attained 70 years of age the fee is waived.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill exempts persons over 70 years of age from the fee
for a commercial shellfish license.
