| | | Sec. 1. 15 MRSA §3007 is enacted to read: |

| | | In addition to any rights given to victims of juvenile crimes | | in this Part, the victim of a juvenile crime has all the rights | | that a victim would have if the conduct were committed by an | | adult, including, but not limited to, the rights provided by | | chapter 520; Title 17-A, chapter 48; and Title 17-A, section | | 1257. |

| | | This bill gives a victim of a crime committed by a juvenile | | the same rights as a victim of a crime committed by an adult, in | | addition to any rights provided to the victim of a juvenile crime | | by the Maine Juvenile Code. |
