| | | Sec. 1. PL 1997, c. 682, §3, is amended to read: |

| | | Sec. 3. Application. Before July 1, 1999 | members of road associations incorporated as of March 1, 1998 | | 2003 may utilize the process set forth in this Act. |

| | | Current law requires all members of a private road association | | to pay for repairs made to the private road upon agreement by the | | association. Prior to July 1, 1999, the law only applies to | | those associations that were formed as of March 1, 1998. |
|
| | | This bill delays the application of the law by 5 years. |
