| | | Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2085 is enacted to read: |

| | | A person under 18 years of age who operates or is a passenger | | on a bicycle, ATV, snowmobile or any motorized vehicle as defined | | in Title 36, section 4831, subsection 3 shall wear a helmet.__For | | the purposes of this section, "wear a helmet" means having a | | helmet of good fit fastened securely upon the head with the | | helmet straps. |
